Tunacado (I love how it rolls off the tongue) is great for your skin, hair and midsection. It’s a healthier version of tuna salad because it’s blended with avocado instead of Mayonnaise.
Tunacado has the same creamy texture you’d want with an awesome nutty avocado taste.
I am addicted. College Boy likes it too (which means it’s got to be good).
Don’t miss an opportunity to show off your green tuna. Great for Halloween and St. Patrick’s Day, too.
Delicious on sandwiches or as a healthy dip.
Ingredients:
1 can of water packed tuna
½-whole avocado, depending on how creamy and how green you want it
½ stalk of green onion finely chopped (more or less to taste)
Smush it around in a bowl and you’re done. How easy it that?!
I like mine on a toasted sourdough roll. How do you like yours?
Always looking for healthy lunch options! Can’t wait
To try this! Yummmmm!
Let me know how you like it Robin!
I will have to try this! Thanks 🙂
My pleasure, enjoy!
I think everyone in my family would like this! Sounds so delicious and healthy! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, Christina. Let me know how they like it 🙂
I add chopped Persian cucumbers, tomatoes, scallions, red peppers, apple and lots of coarsely ground pepper. I like it with mayo with but I’ll test it out with avocado next time. Thanks for the great suggestion.
Wow, Hayley, I want to try yours too! Sounds very gourmet 🙂
I did a taste test today and compared with and without mayo. I’ll try to post the photo on your Facebook page. I liked my Tunacado a lot but it was very rich. I’ll have to alternate between avocado and mayo.
Maybe you had too much avocado. It is rich but it’s sooo yummy. Send me a photo 🙂
I’m dying. I want this in my stomach, NOW!
I know, right?! The beauty is you can make it in less than 5 minutes.
Thanks for sharing. I am going to try it out with my girls.
Bon appetit Michelle! Hope you all like Tunacado.
