Here are some interesting articles and videos I enjoyed this week. From writing prompts, to parenting advice, to help for the sleep deprived (me!), to the ridiculous, and everything in between. Enjoy!

I really like these round-ups, I’ve seen a number of them lately and at some point may have to do one myself. I was very interested to read the– 11 Secrets of Better Sleep. Isn’t that what we all need more of? I had to laugh when the author, a man, indicated that sex before bed helps men sleep, I notice he didn’t mention what it does for women. hmmm. That being said, some of his other points are good. I had seen the 500 Prompts and viewed it much the way a stranded person may view a boat on the horizon from the beach of their desired isle. It just may come in handy for the balance of NaBloPoMo…

Thrilled for this piece to finally see the light o Thrilled for this piece to finally see the light of day on @thegirlfriendletter. And a hearty thanks to @profwendywood, author of Good Habits, Bad Habits, for her words of wisdom. I wrote this back in February, before Covid threw us all a curveball. One thing that I realized is that whether or not we’re in quarantine, many of our basic human traits remain the same. Once a perfectionist, always a perfectionist...until I learned that that mindset was actually holding me back. Love to hear your thoughts.
