No amount of fruit is going to hide the fact there’s a waffle under there. Can’t blame me for trying. Though, this is a huge improvement from when I was a kid, when I’d fill each fluffy hollow in the waffle with butter, then syrup – a perfect half/half mixture that when blended became a sticky sweet paste. It’s a miracle I have any teeth left…not to mention a waistline.
What’s your Sunday guilty pleasure?
Erin Murphy says
Yummm! Our guilty pleasure are crepes from our local farmer’s market! Never mind that they’re covered in Nutella… They have strawberries on them so I’m getting plenty of Vitamin C! 😉

Oh, sounds delish!

I still like waffles loaded with butter and with a little syrup. On a warm morning, I add a little vanilla ice-cream. But that’s only 1 of many guilty pleasures. Lately, I’ve been enjoying a toasted marshmallow or two. I easily and quickly roast them to perfection with the flames on my stovetop. The entire house smells so good when I do it!
Carpool Goddess says
I love my toasted marshmallows a little burnt. Getting dizzy just thinking about it 😉
Stephanie says
Yum, yum, yum!
Carpool Goddess says
Indeed!
Christina Simon says
My guilty pleasure is potatoes…any kind. Tater tots, french fries, baked, you name it!
Carpool Goddess says
Don’t forget potato skins!
Becky says
We love a little french toast at our house.
Carpool Goddess says
I make a good french toast too. Heavenly, actually 🙂

Did somebody say French Toast? Yes, please!
BH Mom says
The big item here would be matzo brie. My dad taught me to make it with lots of butter in the pan to make it crispy. Yep, sure the arteries are real happy about that.
