Oh my friends, it’s been one of those days when only chocolate will make things right again. But I’m a bit of a diva, so not just any chocolate will do. Here are a few of my favorite dark chocolate bars. What kind of friend would I be if I didn’t share? Eat them without guilt, for it is known that dark chocolate is good for you in a myriad of ways. Enjoy these delights alone, with peanut butter, or washed down with another superb healer and chocolate flavor enhancer – red wine. There’s no reason not to feel good.
Theo Salted Almond Dark Chocolate, Lindt Dark Chocolate With a Touch of Sea Salt, Ghirardelli Twilight Delight,
and Green & Black’s Espresso Dark Chocolate.
Great selections! I personally think sea salt is the best thing that’s happened to chocolate in a long time.
I agree, Pauline!!!
Agreed! There’s no reason not to feel good!
That’s right Donna!
Another reason to feel good about eating the chocolate bars you suggest is that some are organic and fair trade. I see it as our responsibility and obligation. Going to Whole Foods now! Thanks CG for making the world a better place.
But of course!
Sea salt and chocolate is the best combination since PB and chocolate. Actually, the best combo since champagne and truffles. But once, and only once, I had my dream cupcake. It was chocolate with salted caramel icing.
Hot damn, I have dreams about that cupcake 🙂
There’s a little bakery in town called The Vanilla Bake Shop, and they have a cupcake like that. The. Best. I’ve. Ever. Had.
Did someone say chocolate, fair trade & organic in the same breath? Might I add Mint to that thought? Green & Blacks Dark Chocolate Mint and Theo Mint Dark Chocolate will satisfy the snobbiest chocolate hound.
I’m not really a mint fan, but I take your word for it 🙂
I enjoy Trader Joe’s dark chocolate covered almonds by the handful.
Hayley, that sounds delicious! I also love dark chocolate covered raisins.
