Movie night is a big deal in our home. When our kids were in high school and especially during the summers before we shipped them off to college, we became obsessed with watching movies about college.
So, whether you’re in college, on your way to college, or simply reminiscing about some of the best days of your life, here is a list of our family’s favorite college movies surely to bring a smile to your face or, perhaps, inspire you to crack open a book.
Most on our list are humorous movies, because let’s face it, going off to college can rattle the nerves of even the most brave among us. So grab the family, pop the corn and enjoy! (*Please check the movie ratings, as some are PG, PG-13 or R.)

I’m such a fan of Animal House. Always wanted a sweatshirt that just said “college” across the front. And With Honors…what a great movie. Made me cry.
